What may have once been merely a creative outlet, fashion blogging has transformed into quite the profitable enterprise. No longer are fashion bloggers an invisible presence doling out fashion advice. Now they are practically minor celebrities with enough clout to claim premium seats at fashion shows, make guest appearances on major television programs such as Today, and appear in popular fashion magazines. What has also made a significant increase is their salary and their followers.

The following list includes the ten most influential bloggers. While there are many more that have not been selected for this list, these bloggers demonstrate an exceptional ability in making a successful career out of their passions. Their talent is not just in one area but spread across many different areas and they are kind enough to share them with the rest of us.

Aimee Song-Song of Style

At just 30 years old, this fashion and interior designer blogger behind Song of Style has plenty of reason to sing. Song has an Instagram following of over 4.6 million followers. Her bold but straightforward and realistic style has prompted collaborations with Piperlime and 7 For All Mankind. Song co-founded the online clothing store Two Songs along with her sister.

Kristini Bazan-Kayture

This 22-year-old model from Geneva, Switzerland has made a big name for herself in a short amount of time. Founded in 2011 by Bazan and her partner James Chardon, Kayture is the one of the most influential blogs in Switzerland, as well as worldwide. Her many accomplishments include a seven-figure contract as brand ambassador with L’Oreal Paris, the cover of Vogue, and a mention in Forbes’ 30 under 30 in 2016. Her elegant style can be described as classic elegance with some modern touches, and as the first million-dollar blogger, her 2.3-plus million Instagram followers and fans, called Kayturettes, are following her every word.

Helene Bordan – Helena Bordon

The Brazilian fashion blogger and businesswoman co-founded fast-fashion chain 284 alongside with two childhood friends. Since its launch, 284 has opened seven standalone stores and hosts concessions in over twenty-two multi-brand locations. Of course, when your mother is Donata Meirelles, former international director of the Sao Paulo boutique Daslu and current style director of Brazilian Vogue, then you have to think that her success must be pure genius with a good dash of genetics.

Blair Eadie – Atlantic Pacific

The 30-year-old fashion blogger and photographer’s personal style blog Atlantic-Pacific has made a considerable impact on current fashion trends. She has one million followers on Instagram alone and more than 130,000 followers on her blog which showcases her feminine mix of classic and modern. She started her career working as a merchandiser for Gap and has since collaborated with some of the biggest names in fashion and makeup, including Nordstrom, Target, and Sephora, and has appeared in popular fashion magazines like Elle and Vogue. Blair is currently working as the director of merchandising for Tory Burch.

 

Gala Gonzalez – Amlul

Considered the first Spanish fashion blogger, Gala Gonzalez’s seemingly endless titles include fashion blogger, model, DJ, socialite, and fashion designer. Currently based out of London, Gonzalez became popular for her fashion blog and the impact her effortless style has made on the fashion industry. The niece of designer Adolfo Dominguez, she launched her own clothing line called Music Collection in 2009. Gonzalez has appeared in over twenty international publications and has landed campaigns with H&M and Loewe.

Chiara Ferragni – The Blonde Salad

A former law student, this Italian businesswoman, blogger, and fashion designer has been employed by Guess as a model and spokeswoman. She has worked with Steve Madden to design a shoe collection. Other collaborations include Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Tommy Hilfiger, and Seven For All Mankind. Her ebook The Blonde Salad, is also the name of her fashion blog. With over 7.3 million followers on Instagram, this self-made businesswoman has her own shoe collection, the Chiara Ferragni Collection, which is sold at over 300 retailers around the world. She has graced the covers of over fifty magazines and has been on the Forbes under 30 list two times.

Rumi Neely − Fashion Toast

This fashion blogger of Japanese, Dutch, and Scottish descent is well known for her style and photography and has been featured in multiple magazines including Teen Vogue, Lucky, Glamour, Elle, Vogue Australia, Cosmopolitan, and many more. She launched a clothing line called Are You Am I in 2014 and has modelled for well-known brands including Free People and Forever 21. Neely has collaborated with several well-known brands including the sunglass company Sunday Somewhere,

Bryan Grey Yambao − Bryanboy 

This celebrity fashion and style blogger from the Philippines achieved celebrity status as America’s Next Top Model social media correspondent. In 2007, Yambao was awarded the best fashion and lifestyle blog at the Philippines Blog Awards and has since accumulated a growing fan base. After Yambao posted about it in his blog, Marc Jacobs named his BB bag after him. The Filipino blogger has a large Twitter following and his collaborators include Ralph Lauren and Gucci.

Wendy Nguyen Wendy’s Lookbook

This L.A.-based blogger is best known for her popular YouTube channel which has over 650,000 subscribers. Her 2011 video entitled “25 Ways to Tie a Scarf” has been viewed over 35 million times. Nguyen’s well-produced YouTube videos led the way to her career as a successful fashion blogger and she has more than half a million Twitter followers. Nguyen’s blog is a mix of art, nature, food, music, architecture, and of course, fashion which is a reflection of all her different interests. Nguyen grew up in the foster system and is an advocate for the juvenile justice.

Julia Engel – Gal Meets Glam

This successful San-Francisco based fashion and life style blogger started blogging as early as her junior year in college. Now Gal Meets Glam is Engel’s full-time career with an audience of hundreds of thousands of readers each month as they accompany Engel on her travels which she shares photos of on Pinterest.
